Lina Photography — Terms & Conditions (T&C)

Applies to all bookings, photoshoots, and delivered content.


1. Booking & Payments

  • A booking is confirmed only once a deposit is paid (deposit amount varies by session type and will be stated in your invoice).
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • All invoices are payable within 7 days.


2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Client Cancellation:
  • More than 48 hours before the shoot → deposit is transferable to a new date.
  • Less than 48 hours → deposit is non-refundable.
  • Photographer Cancellation:
  • If Lina cancels due to illness or emergency, the client may reschedule or receive a full refund of all payments made.

3. Late Arrivals

  • If the client or event is delayed, the shoot will continue until the scheduled end time.
  • Additional time (if needed and available) is charged at the rate stated in your package.


4. Deliverables

  • Edited photos are delivered via online gallery (Pixieset or equivalent).
  • Delivery timeframe: 7–21 business days, depending on project size.
  • Additional edits requested after delivery may incur extra fees.


5. Image Usage Rights

  • Clients receive personal use rights to all delivered photos.
  • This includes printing, sharing on social media, and personal use.
  • Commercial use (ads, websites, branding) must be arranged separately unless included in your package.
  • Lina Photography retains the copyright to all images.


6. Photographer Portfolio Rights

  • Lina Photography may use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotions.
  • If you require privacy or wish to restrict usage, please notify Lina in writing before the shoot.


7. RAW Files

  • RAW/unedited files are not included in any package and are not released.


8. Editing Style

  • By booking, you acknowledge that Lina Photography has a distinctive cinematic documentary style.
  • Heavy revisions or changes to style (colour grading, skin tone, cropping) are not included unless agreed upon.


9. Client Cooperation

  • For best results, clients are encouraged to follow guidance during the shoot.
  • Lina is not responsible for missed shots due to restrictions, delays, weather, or lack of cooperation.


10. Liability

  • Lina Photography is not responsible for injuries, damages, or loss during the shoot.
  • If equipment fails or files are lost beyond repair, liability is limited to a refund of the amount paid.


11. Travel Fees

  • Travel inside Perth metro is included.
  • Travel outside Perth may incur additional fees depending on distance.


12. Pets (for dog photography)

  • Owners are responsible for their dogs’ safety and behaviour.
  • If a dog becomes aggressive or unsafe, the photographer may pause or end the session.


13. Events & Sports Photography

  • Coverage focuses on documentary-style moments.
  • Specific shots are not guaranteed due to the unpredictable nature of live events.


14. File Storage

  • Delivered photos are kept for 3 months.
  • Please download and back up your images promptly.


15. Agreement

By booking a session, the client agrees to all terms listed above.
