Hi, I am Lina.

Photography has been a part of me for as long as I can remember.

As a child, I’d watch my dad carefully frame our family’s memories on film — birthdays, beach days, everyday life. I still remember the glow of the red light in our kitchen when he turned it into a darkroom, and the smell of developing chemicals that somehow felt like magic. We’d hang prints to dry across the room like little treasures, and I’d stare at them in awe, not quite knowing then how much those moments would shape me.

In my early twenties, I went on a volunteer trip to children’s homes in Africa. I brought my Nikon, mostly for myself — but something shifted. I found myself drawn to the rawness of daily life, the emotions written on faces, the beauty in unscripted moments. It wasn’t about perfect poses. It was about truth. That’s when I realized photography could be more than memory — it could be storytelling.

Years later, after working in marketing and content creation, I found myself behind the camera again — this time helping small businesses tell their story through visuals. I worked with entrepreneurs and local brands to build authentic content: photos, videos, strategies that didn’t just look good but felt real. Somewhere in that process, I started attending BJJ competitions to support a client — and that’s where sports photography really grabbed me. The intensity, the emotion, the vulnerability on people’s faces in the middle of challenge — it felt alive. And honest. And powerful.

Around the same time, dogs started showing up more and more in my life — not through a camera, but through dog sitting. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds and personalities. I’ve seen the gentle loyalty, the goofiness, the moments of quiet connection that only a dog can offer. I haven’t launched a dedicated dog photography project yet, but the seed is planted. It’s a space that feels natural for me, and I know I’ll grow into it soon.

Today, I work across portraits, events, family stories, sports, and business content — always with the same goal: to capture life as it is. The unguarded moments. The beauty in the real. The things you might miss if no one was paying attention, but that matter more than we think.

If you’re here to document your story — personal or professional — I’d love to help you do it with honesty, care, and creativity.
